Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Enterprises Round 2 – Open to Queensland-based SMEs at 12pm on Wednesday 28th of February.
This grant helps eligible small businesses with up to $25,000 to cover up to 100% of eligible expenditure that will reduce and manage energy usage and costs. It is a pretty simple application, with only two long-form questions about your project; the rest are short answers. Sole traders, partnerships, and incorporated trustees are included in the eligibility entities.
Eligible activities include:
· Process automation and controls
· Reconfigure/ Optimise Processes
· Energy audits and energy management
· Energy monitoring
· Power supply
· Lighting
· Heat Pumps
· Upgrades to motors, including for compressors, pumps, fans, conveyors, mixers and blowers
· Building fabric upgrades
· Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning
· Commercial refrigeration
· Compressed Air Improvements
· Water Heating
The grants will be awarded to businesses that meet the eligibility criteria on a first-come, first-served basis in order of application receipt until the funding is exhausted in each jurisdiction.
